ANNE WHITE MD PC, also known as Valley Health Care, was a family medicine practice located at 909 N 5TH AVE NE, Rome, GA. Led by Dr. Anne L. White (also referred to as Dr. Anne Wright White), the practice provided comprehensive primary care services for all members of the family, from infants to seniors. Dr. White, who earned her medical degree in 1986 and moved to Rome that same year to begin her family medicine training, was board-certified in Family Medicine and a Fellow of the AAFP. She held a special interest in bone health and osteoporosis and was noted as the first physician in northwest Georgia certified to perform bone density testing. The practice offered services including preventative medicine, management of chronic conditions, men's health, women's health, and geriatrics. The office of Anne White MD & Molly Tant APRN, Valley Health Care, permanently closed on April 21, 2020. Dr. White cited personal reasons, including the recent death of her sister and her husband's health problems, as well as the impact of COVID-19, as factors in her decision to close the practice. Patients were notified according to Georgia Medical Board protocol and were given up to six months to obtain their medical records. However, as of the closure announcement, it is no longer possible to provide medical records for former patients.
