She has been an APRN for 8 years. She is an alumni of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, receiving her BSN in 2002 and her Master’s in Nursing Science in 2018.  ​ As an RN, Michelle has worked in Labor and Delivery, Maternal Child, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiology, Nursing Administration, Medical/Surgical Nursing, Geriatric Psych, and Quality Improvement.  ​ As an APRN, Michelle has worked in rural health clinics to provide quality care to underserved and underinsured patients of Southeast Arkansas. Most recently, she has practiced the last four years at a privately owned family practice clinic. She is well-experienced in treating acute conditions and managing chronic illnesses. ​ Michelle is a native of southeast Arkansas and has been married for 26 years to her high school crush. Together they have raised two sons who are now young adults in college.  ​ Michelle is strongly driven by her Christian faith. She is an active member of her church where she serves on the worship team.
