AdventHealth Palm Coast
AdventHealth Palm Coast is a non-profit, 99-bed acute care community hospital located at 60 Memorial Medical Parkway in Palm Coast, Florida. It holds the distinction of being the first hospital built in Flagler County and is currently the second-largest employer in the county. The facility, originally established in 1951 as Bunnell Medical Clinic and evolving into Bunnell General Hospital in 1960, was formally built as AdventHealth Palm Coast in 2002 following its acquisition by AdventHealth in 2000. It operates as a tertiary, statutory rural hospital and a primary stroke center, offering a wide array of medical specialties and advanced technology. Committed to providing whole-person care, AdventHealth Palm Coast has extensive experience in geriatric care. Its comprehensive senior care services include primary and specialty care, geriatric medicine evaluations, and assistance with managing the Medicare process. The hospital's network extends to recovery and rehabilitation services, home health care, hospice, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, long-term acute care, and connections to nursing homes and wellness centers with senior activities. It has been recognized for its commitment to older adults, earning a Level 2 Age-Friendly Health System distinction from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and a Level 3 Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation by the American College of Emergency Physicians. Beyond general hospital services, AdventHealth Palm Coast continually expands its offerings, including the addition of a $30 million, 30,000-square-foot cancer center, the Freytag Cancer Center, which began treating patients in mid-November 2024 and had its grand opening in January 2025. The hospital also boasts a simulation center, opened in 2022, which is the largest in the AdventHealth Central Florida Division, used for staff training and development.
