AdventHealth Redmond is a 230-bed, full-service acute-care medical center located in Rome, Georgia, serving as a tertiary referral center for Northwest Georgia and parts of Alabama. The facility originally opened in 1972 as Redmond Park Hospital, pioneering medical advancements in the region, including the first cardiac catheterization laboratory in Northwest Georgia in 1975 and the first open-heart surgery in 1986. The hospital joined the AdventHealth network in October 2021 and was renamed AdventHealth Redmond in January 2022. It operates with a mission to "Extend the Healing Ministry of Christ," focusing on whole-person care that addresses the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of its patients.
