March is Brain Injury Awareness Month This March, Alabama Head Injury Foundation humbly asks that you join us in working to raise awareness of the causes and prevention of Traumatic Brain Injury, and also awareness of the wonderful successes, and challenges faced, of those living with traumatic brain injury. AHIF invites you to join us throughout the month, and throughout the year, as we seek to bring awareness and understanding for those living with traumatic brain injuries, its causes, and how you can help! Here are some of the activities we have planned surrounding this year's Brain Injury Awareness Month. February 26 - AHIF on ABC 33/40's Talk of Alabama March 3 - Ribbon-cutting for new veteran's TBI Clinic at the University of Alabama March 4 - AHIF Book Reading to Decatur Head Start Program March 5 - AHIF on CBS 42 News March 5 - AHIF Book Reading at Rocky Ridge Elementary March 6-8 - Camp ASCCA Weekend TBI Camp March 10-12 - TBI Advocacy with congressional staffers in Washington D.C.
