Located in the Northeast Heights of Albuquerque, we are a family-owned and operated Assisted Living Community designed to assist seniors with activities of daily life. We care for the physical, cognitive, and spiritual needs of our residents by assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, medications, and by providing stimulating daily activities. Our care is second to none. A little about Carefree Senior Living... Carefree Living was founded in 1994 and is home to 51 seniors. When one arrives they may notice folk music playing in the hallways as the caregivers’ complete daily tasks. One may also hear Polly the parrot, squawk to join in with visiting musicians or to weigh in during the daily current event discussions. The hospitality at Carefree Living is felt because residents are valued and are living with good care and dignity. Food is abundant and healthy (most of the time…with the occasional ‘sinful’ dessert and french fries!) Residents enjoy an engaging schedule with fun activities. You might find residents enjoying the beautiful outdoor patio and gardens with friends, the dining area, or the beauty salon, while staff take care of the housekeeping and laundry. Residents’ medications are managed by knowledgeable trained staff who consult with a licensed pharmacist and are highly regulated by the NM Board of Pharm
