About Us Mission Statement The mission of Namekagon Transit as a rural transportation entity is to meet the needs of the people and communities within our service area by providing safe, reliable and efficient transportation services in Sawyer, Washburn, Barron, southern Bayfield Counties, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and surrounding communities. Our Story Namekagon Transit was established in 1998.
