New Growth Transit is a network of volunteer drivers providing free rides for residents in west central Missouri, including Bates, Benton, Cass, Cedar, Dallas, Henry, Hickory, Morgan, Polk, St. Clair, and Vernon counties. New Growth Transit, an affiliate of West Central Missouri Community Action Agency, coordinates and provides rides for doctor appointments. With available funding some rides can be for grocery stores, employment, banking, civic events, and many other community resources. Get Back on the Road Need a ride? We can help! Call the office Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM No fixed routes for residents of eligible counties! Rides are provided to where YOU need to go. Schedule appointments locally or in a nearby community, including Springfield, Bolivar, Columbia, Kansas City, Joplin, and St. Louis. Rides are provided/scheduled based on driver availability and must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Call 417-283-7991 to schedule a ride.
