She started working in the healthcare field in 1999 and gained the love for elderly care at the early age of 16 while looking after her grandmother. Lawanda is also the mother of a child with Autism that she cares for daily. She is skilled and adverse in the special needs for others. Lawanda is known for putting others before herself and says she is perfectly okay with that. Her motto is "Do what you love and love what you do." That is what she lives by every day.
