Foundation for Recovery is Nevada’s statewide Recovery Community Organization – a community nonprofit led by volunteers and staff in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders. Together we support people and families struggling and create a sense of community among those of us with lived-experience. We focus on our strengths, not our illness. Recovery Support. Our focus is strength-based support for anyone in need. We provide one-on-one peer support, group meetings, and sober-social events to promote and enhance recovery support systems across Nevada. Education & Training. Upgrade your skills with free courses and workshops developed for a range of audiences. Whether you’re a peer support specialist, employer, faith-leader, or clinician, we have something for you.  Advocacy & Activism. Organizing our communities and advocating for people and families impacted by addiction. It’s time we start seeing people with lived-experience as a resource, not a liability.   OUR SERVICES Individualized Peer Support One-on-one support to help you achieve your goals in recovery. Work with your own peer support specialist and create a recovery plan to meet your needs and goals. Mutual-Aid & Group Support Our recovery community centers provide space for many mutual-aid meetings and support groups available to the community most times of the day. Amenities & Resources Find a range of resources and supportive amenities. Recycled clothing, wifi and computer labs, library and literature, transportation assistance and more. Events & Activities Through partnerships and the talented skills of people from local communities of recovery, we plan fun and engaging events and activities throughout the week.
