HomeYour GovernmentHuman ServicesStoughton Public Health Stoughton Public Health PREVENT - PROMOTE - PROTECT PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING Public Health Nurses provide essential community-based services focused on disease prevention and health promotion.  Examples of services provided include, but are not limited to: vaccine administration, health screenings (blood pressure), surveillance of community infectious disease (TB, foodborne illness), offering health education, conducting home visits for vulnerable members of the community to improve health equity.  STOUGHTON PUBLIC HEALTH COLLABORATIVE MISSION The mission of the Stoughton Public Health Collaborative is to promote and protect the health and well-being of all residents through compassionate, professional nursing guidance, evidence-based public health practices, comprehensive substance abuse prevention initiatives and inclusive wellness programs.
