Ahsl Kentwood Fieldstone

AHSL Kentwood Fieldstone, part of the American House Kentwood senior living campus, was an assisted living and memory care facility located in a serene neighborhood south of Grand Rapids. The facility was designed to offer a blend of independence and personalized support, featuring a one-level building layout that provided a homelike atmosphere for up to 20 residents. It specialized in care for the aged, those with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, and individuals with physical handicaps. The community was known for its 'Love is Ageless' memory care program, which focused on cognitive engagement and a personalized care approach. Historically, the facility operated as one of three separate 'Manors' on the Eastern Avenue campus (Fieldstone, Riverstone, and Cobblestone), each offering its own dining room and life enrichment programs. However, official records from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) indicate that the facility suffered a significant fire in late 2024. Following a special investigation and onsite inspection on September 2, 2024, which determined the building was a 'total loss from a recent fire,' the facility's license was officially closed on October 31, 2024.
