Angel Corps

Angel Corps, founded around 2001 by Rick and Dorian Maples, was a senior care facility based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with additional offices in Bluffton and Auburn. The organization primarily focused on providing in-home non-medical care, offering personalized services and geriatric care management to help seniors maintain independence and navigate the challenges associated with aging. Its philosophy was influenced by the "Eden at Home Philosophy," aiming to alleviate loneliness, helplessness, and boredom through person-directed care. In March 2024, Angel Corps was acquired by Senior1Care, a Hoosier-owned home care company, which expanded its services to the Fort Wayne area. As part of Senior1Care, the agency continues to offer a comprehensive range of home care services, including personal care, companionship, meal planning, medication reminders, recovery care, dementia care, and extended-hours care. Senior1Care also plans to establish a CNA Training school in Fort Wayne. The original Angel Corps license number was 20-011603-1, which expired on March 31, 2021.
