HERE ARE SOME WAYS TO HELP Our Services Family Service of the Piedmont is a private, not-for-profit agency focused on building safe and healthy families and communities. We serve more than 26,000 children and adults each year, addressing issues of domestic violence, child abuse, mental health and financial stability. Child Abuse & Healthy Parenting Safe and child-friendly environments to investigate abuse, as well as, educational programs to foster healthy parenting skills. Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Safe shelter, advocacy, help filing protective orders and navigating the court system. Mental Health & Substance Use Individual and group counseling for children, adolescents and adults dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, family stress, grief, and physical or sexual abuse. Financial Stability Budget and credit counseling, debt management, foreclosure prevention, housing counseling and education.
