At Kinship, 90% of the fun is making new friends & trying new activities. If you want to stay strong and healthy, join us for daily movement & meditation exercises, Tuesday Music & Movement class+ much more! For seniors in Orleans Parish, ask about our daily lunch provided by Meals on Wheels. We are proud to be partnered with: MUSIC & MOVEMENT Every Tuesday, Kinship hosts pianist and music instructor Nancy Healan in leading our seniors through music and movement from cultures around the world. From Latin rhythms to traditional Southern folk music, seniors can explore music through group singing, dance, and playing instruments! Our seniors are often joined by professional musicians in this joyful class! FIELD TRIPS Ready to go on an adventure? Kinship members visit places like Longue Vue House & Gardens, the New Orleans Museum of Art and Morning Call coffee as well as weekly trips to Walmart, Dollar Tree or Rouses. We also take our members to special luncheons around town and various New Orleans Council on Aging events. We've even gone to Baton Rouge to advocate for senior-funding!
