Spelman, MD. Dr. Spelman and his colleagues achieved many firsts, including the region’s first home health care program and the first inpatient rehabilitation unit. Those two programs continue to provide outstanding care to thousands of patients from Smithville and the surrounding communities. Located just north of 169 Highway and Missouri Highway 92, Saint Luke’s North Hospital–Smithville features: Saint Luke's Primary Care–Smithville, a family medicine clinic-all ages welcome Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation Units for intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy Behavioral Health Unit serving adults—the only such facility in the area Patient and Visitor Information Visiting Guidelines Behavioral Health visiting hours, 4–5:30 p.m., are scheduled to ensure therapy sessions are not interrupted.
